"SCAN-TO-FORM" Pilot Project

Digitalization of the Vehicle Registration Office

The vehicle registration office is an institution that is often confronted with lengthy processes and bureaucratic hurdles. However, digitalization offers the opportunity to fundamentally change the way we register vehicles. In this article, we present the pilot project of our "SCAN-TO-FORM" solution, which we carried out together with "TSP zulassungsdienst".

"SCAN-TO-FORM" is a solution that we developed to promote the digitalization of authorities and other organizations. The concept is as simple as it is ingenious: paper documents, such as vehicle registration certificates, are recognized using Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and converted into digital formats. But that's not all. The real magic of "SCAN-TO-FORM" begins when the important information is extracted from these documents.

A recently launched pilot project with a vehicle registration office is already showing promising results. The documents are simply scanned in, from the vehicle registration certificate to other required documents. The "SCAN-TO-FORM" software then takes care of the rest. The extracted information is automatically entered into the relevant registration forms and stored in the customer database. This means that tedious manual filling out of paperwork is a thing of the past.

But the advantages of "SCAN-TO-FORM" don't stop there. The application is accessible via a simple web browser and can be used on computers as well as mobile devices such as cell phones and tablets.
