36th ECBC Plenary Meeting in Athens

We were honored to attend the 36th ECBC Plenary Meeting in Athens - a truly insightful event that shaped important discussions on the future of covered bonds.

Key topics included sustainable finance and the evolving regulatory environment in European capital markets. We particularly valued the sessions on energy-efficient housing and the role of covered bonds in supporting green finance. Discussions around digital innovation and its impact on the covered bond ecosystem were both timely and forward-looking.

It was inspiring to hear from policymakers, regulators, and industry leaders on how the market is responding to current macroeconomic and geopolitical challenges. The meeting demonstrated the ECBC’s vital role as a platform for collaboration and thought leadership.

We were pleased to present EcoAsset.ai, our low-code data platform designed to help mortgage lenders improve ESG data quality, streamline reporting, and unlock green capital market access. Our solution addresses major industry challenges such as non-digital EPC data, manual pool management, and regulatory complexity - enabling digital transformation and capital relief.

We are grateful to the organizers and speakers for putting together such a high-quality program and for the opportunity to contribute. We look forward to continuing these conversations at future ECBC events and helping shape a more transparent and sustainable mortgage landscape.

We don't want to list everyone who took part in the event here, but special thanks go out to the following participants: Kenn Urhøj, Ana Bachurova, Anna Pinedo, Dr Ju-Hwa Jung, Gina Ding, Sean Kidney, Stefano Patruno, Elena Bortolotti, Sergiu Oprescu, Eirini Botonaki, Sanna Eriksson, Raül Domingo Gonzalez, Julien Marchand, Kamilla Hammerich Skytte, Frank Will, Antonio Torio, Tero Kangas, Ian Stewart, Reiner Lux, Sascha Koch, Richard Kemmish, Luca Bertalot, Jennifer Johnson, Daniel Bradley, Cecilia Comastri plus the ones we have forgotten to mention.
