Workshop “AI in Production”

Since the end of 2023, participants from over 20 renowned medium-sized companies in the region have been receiving hands-on training in Artificial Intelligence as part of the workshop series "KI-Guides Märkische Region." During the event "AI in Production," we had the opportunity to share our expertise with the participants.

In an impulse presentation, Yaroslav Petrovski showcased practical application examples from production. Subsequently, we collaboratively trained an AI for Predictive Maintenance using a low-code platform.

During the session, we focused on the following key points:

📊 Data Preparation: This step proved particularly challenging for the participants. As in reality, data preparation is often more complex than the AI itself.

🧠 Training and Evaluating the AI Model: In a lively discussion, we discovered that performance KPIs of a model can sometimes be misleading!

🖥️ Visualization: We brought the end result to life by presenting it dynamically on a dashboard.

The "KI-Guides" workshop series is a collaborative initiative involving the agentur mark GmbH, HAGEN.WIRTSCHAFTSENTWICKLUNG, GWS Gesellschaft zur Wirtschafts- und Strukturförderung im Märkischen Kreis mbH, EN-Agentur, SIHK zu Hagen, Märkischer Arbeitgeberverband, Agency for Employment Hagen, and Agency for Employment Iserlohn. This initiative is funded by the EU, federal government, and the state of North Rhine-Westphalia as part of projects such as Zukunftszentrum KI NRW, European Digital Innovation Hub Südwestfalen, Mittelstand-Digital Zentrum WertNetzWerke, and Mittelstand-Digital Zentrum Ländliche Regionen.
