Data Scientist *

Our idea of the position:
- Data acquisition and storage as well as development of software components
- Design and development of Big Data & Data Analytics solutions for customers
- Building Big Data and IT infrastructures in projects
- Depending on your experience, you will also be responsible for the design and implementation of new data science use cases
- Using modern machine learning and deep learning methods, you answer a wide variety of questions from our customers and derive recommendations for action from them
- You analyze our customers' data for trends and patterns and thus help to optimize their business processes
- You are interested in data engineering and will use it as a foundation for data science
Our idea of your skillset:
- A completed degree in the STEM field
- You have already worked intensively with machine learning methods such as cluster analysis, neural networks or random forest - either in your studies and/or in practice
- You have knowledge of one or even more programming languages (e.g. Python, R, Scala, Java)
- Experience or interest in frameworks for batch and streaming processing (Apache Spark & Kafka) is an advantage, but not a must
- You bring basic knowledge or interest in Big Data & Cloud topics like Hadoop, Elasticsearch, AWS, Azure
- You have a strong hands-on mentality and enjoy working with new technologies

- An exciting role between our sales, data science team as well as product/service management
- You are account manager for several of our AI customer projects
- The creation and presentation of the product and service offering are part of your tasks
- You are responsible for querying, linking, analyzing, visualizing as well as interpreting data
- You support the development of algorithms and ad-hoc analyses as well as the dashboard conception

Recommendations as a Service
Our project "AI Services for German SMEs" was funded under the Distr@l program of the state of Hesse: Validierungs-/Wachstumsförderung
Many small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) lack the resources and know-how for an automated analysis of their customers' behavior. However, the results of this analysis form the basis for good digital marketing and sales.
Our AI service RaaS solves this issue for SMEs. This pre-built AI service is intended for business users and is thus very different from common technical AI platforms and frameworks. The design of this service is based on an integration of multiple machine learning approaches such as customer segmentation, transaction clustering, statistical consumption analysis and recommendation engines.
The use of our recommendation service provides significant benefits for SMEs such as increasing customer loyalty, increasing marketing team productivity and improving customer service quality. The primary application group is German SMEs from the retail and e-commerce sectors.
